   Apr 11,  · Brilliant Album from Elbow, Brilliant pressing yet again from MPO, apart from a crackly last few seconds on both sides (often happens on their pressings) flat vinyl, glossy and unmarked, ultra quite in-between tracks, did fancy stumping up for the White/Violet Vinyl but i'm a bit confused as to who pressed that, it says MPO but a US Concord records release, the black vinyl version from them /5().

   This brings me to this album. Now, a lot of Elbow albums and songs take a while to grow on one. They are not an easy band to get into right away. With that, I may update this review in time and add a star or 2. What made their past albums great was the band involvement and sound. This album lacks that and any real catchy ballads, other than All /5(13).

   And it sounds INCREDIBLE. All Elbow records have sounded great, but I was skeptical since this is the first that wasn't 45 RPM. Turns out it didn't need those extra rotations after all. The sound is powerful and blows the digital version out of the water. I'm not quite ready to rank it with my all-time favorite Elbow albums/5(25).
